LEGAL
Effective date: May 11, 2026
This policy explains what personal data Chukwu collects, why, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and your rights under GDPR, Quebec Law 25, and PIPEDA.
01 — WHO WE ARE
Chukwu ("we", "us", "our") is a custom software studio incorporated in Quebec, Canada. Our website is located at obinnachukwu.org.
Privacy Officer: Obinna Chukwu. All data access, correction, and deletion requests must be directed to [email protected].
02 — WHAT WE COLLECT
Contact form
Name, email address, and the message you submit via our web3forms-powered contact form.
Booking data
Name, email address, and any details you enter when booking a call via Calendly.
Behavioral and device data
IP address, browser type, pages visited, time on page, and interaction events collected by Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Meta (Facebook) Pixel.
Cookies
First-party session cookies required for site function, and third-party cookies set by GA4 and Meta Pixel for analytics and advertising measurement.
03 — WHY WE COLLECT IT
Contractual necessity
Contact form and Calendly data are processed to respond to your inquiry and, if applicable, to perform or prepare a contract for services.
Legitimate interest
GA4 and Meta Pixel operate on the basis of legitimate interest: understanding how visitors interact with our site so we can improve it. We have assessed this interest against the potential impact on your rights and concluded it does not override them, particularly given that this is a B2B site with no consumer transactions.
We do not
sell your data, use it for automated decision-making with legal effects, or use it for any purpose beyond what is described here.
04 — RETENTION
Contact form submissions
Retained for 24 months from date of submission, then deleted.
Calendly booking data
Governed by Calendly's own retention policy. We do not store a separate copy beyond what our email system retains (24 months).
Analytics data (GA4)
Retained for 14 months per our GA4 configuration, in line with Google's minimum recommended setting.
Meta Pixel data
Governed by Meta's data retention policy. Event data is associated with your Meta profile where applicable per Meta's own practices.
05 — THIRD-PARTY PROCESSORS
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only with the following processors, each under contractual data protection obligations:
Google (GA4)
Behavioral and device data for website analytics. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
Meta (Facebook Pixel)
Behavioral data for advertising measurement and audience building. Privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy
Calendly
Booking data for scheduling. Privacy policy: calendly.com/privacy
web3forms
Contact form submissions for delivery to our inbox. Privacy policy: web3forms.com/privacy
06 — CROSS-BORDER TRANSFERS
Chukwu is based in Quebec, Canada. The processors listed above (Google, Meta, Calendly, and web3forms) are headquartered in the United States and process data on US-based servers.
Under Quebec Law 25, cross-border transfers of personal information require that the destination jurisdiction offers an adequate level of protection or that appropriate safeguards are in place. Each of the processors above is subject to contractual data protection terms (Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent) that we rely on as the basis for these transfers.
By using this website, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
07 — YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Access
Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction
Request that inaccurate data be corrected.
Deletion
Request that your data be deleted. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.
Portability
Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Objection
Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We do not charge a fee for access requests.
08 — COOKIES
This site uses cookies in two categories:
Strictly necessary
Session cookies required for the site to function. These cannot be disabled without breaking the site.
Analytics and measurement
Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel set cookies to measure site traffic and ad performance. These are not strictly necessary. You may opt out by using browser-level controls, installing a browser extension such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on, or by contacting us at [email protected] to request that your data not be processed.
We rely on legitimate interest as the legal basis for analytics and measurement cookies. If you are an EU or Quebec resident who objects to this processing, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to exclude your data.
09 — CHANGES
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
